I'm Lloyd Duimstra, founder of Dime LA Media, a full-service creative studio out of Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Since 2024 I've shot weddings, events, portraits, corporate, and brand content across South Dakota and beyond. The throughline never changes: images that still feel like something years from now.
I shoot through movement. I'd rather catch you walking, dancing, or mid-laugh than holding a pose, because real emotion lives in action, and my job is to catch it, not stage it. Direction stays simple and vocal, so you always know what to do, and then I get out of the way of the moment.
As for the person behind the camera: calm when the day isn't, quick to laugh, down to earth. Whether you're planning a wedding, building a brand, or just want a few great shots, you're spending real hours with your photographer. I make sure those hours feel less like a photoshoot and more like a good day that happened to get documented.

Movement over posing
The best photos happen when you forget there's a camera. I shoot through action, walking, laughing, doing the real thing, so the emotion in the frame is the one you actually felt. No stiff hands, no forced smiles, no magazine stares.
Clean, consistent editing
I enhance what's already there rather than transform it into something it's not. The goal is always the same: look back in ten years and still feel it.
